Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is open from 7:00am with breakfast available from 7:15am and hot food served until 4:00pm. It is acceptable to use mobile devices excluding laptops within the Clubhouse to send and receive emails and similar messages, as well as to do data searches ( such as by Google). But please do not use them for voice transmission or playing videos. This also applies on the courses. Audible communication should be restricted to the car park.

practiCe facilities

We have a large driving range which is just a short walk from the Pro Shop where you can purchase the range balls. There are eight covered bays, a large grass tee, short game area and putting green.

There are two practice nets and a large putting green close to both first tees.

DRESS CODE

Gentlemen

On the courses/the terrace

• Golfing sweater (hooded jumpers – golf branded only)
  
• Polo shirt or similar collared sports shirt tucked into the waistband (no tee shirts, rugby shirts or similar)
  
• Tailored trousers (no denim jeans, track suit bottoms or cargo pants) or equivalent shorts
  
• With shorts, long socks if worn, to be worn to the knee, not rolled down
  
• Waterproof or other thermal over jacket or gilet and waterproof over-trousers
  
• Recognised golf shoes (no trainers) in acceptable condition
  
• Caps if worn must be peak to the front
  

In the clubhouse

Golfing attire as above is acceptable throughout the clubhouse other than the dining room. Exceptions are;

• No waterproofs or head coverings (other than under religious observance) to be worn outside the locker rooms
  
• No golf shoes to be worn except for the terrace and locker room
  
• Shoes, if not golf shoes where permitted, must cover the foot (no bare feet, flip flops, crocs or trainers)
  

In the dining room (other than under a general dispensation) the following are required

• Tailored jacket, preferably worn over a tailored shirt, tie optional
  
• Tailored trousers
  
• Golfing attire (as described above) without jacket permitted on Saturdays only
  

Ladies

Ladies are asked to wear suitable golf clothing on the courses and smart casual clothes in the clubhouse. No golf shoes at anytime except for the terrace and locker room. Dress on Sunday in the dining room is more formal.

Caddies

Visitors wishing to make use of a caddie should ring the Caddiemaster on 01344 622627 once they have confirmed their booking.

Golf buggies and electric trolleys

Buggies are only available to those who need them for a medical reason. A medical certificate will need to be supplied in advance of your visit to book a buggy.

Motocaddy GPS electric trolleys are also available to hire.

Halfway Hut

We have a Halfway Hut that is situated by the 8th tee on the Red course and 14th tee on the Blue course.
